Nah. I’d have loved them to have done it as a “proper” book but they are really into digital publishing now and as I am contracted to them with all such books as I may write of this genre, I sadly have very little say in the matter!
However, that does NOT stop me sharing “excerpts” with you! Clear your inbox,,,,,stuff coming in to land!

Read the first parts, it’s absolutely fascinating and fantastic research on your part! The RAF have a lot to thank the boom of the 20s for! It was a real collection of nationalities there, all walks of life and backgrounds a shame it went the way it did. But that’s progress I guess!

Glad you liked it Andy. That whole project was a thirty year labour of love!

Good grief! That’s dedication, but the effort was well worth the time, it really is a brilliant piece of research Mitch! Please feel feee to add a link on here to the book in case anyone wishes to look further.

Thank You Andy. So, if anyone IS interested, this is an E Book and it is available here:
https://www.pen-and-sword.co.uk/1940-The-Battles-to-Stop-Hitler-Kindle/p/11118
Just copy and paste the above line into your browser.
I personally do not make a penny out of my books as ALL my author’s royalties are donated to The Medway Queen Preservation Society. The publisher send the monies directly to the charity,
Many thanks again!

I note RAF Gravesend is missing! You been there at all? Nothing too recognisable left of it now but I do have a wealth of info and photos if you are interested.

No I haven’t made it there yet. It’s one of those on my very long list, I tend to fit them in with holidays, family visits etc, Rochester & Detling are others in the area I’d like to do.
I would love to see what you have, that would be so kind of you, and add some great information to the blog. Can you scan them?

Already have! They were intended for my book 1940: THE BATTLES TO STOP HITLER but the publisher decided to go text only on me! If you can let me have your email address, I will gladly send said stuff to you, but be warned; as I said to david Foxx at AIRSCAPE, I WILL fill your inbox!!!!

You not trying the book route again then I take it, a shame to see all that effort wasted!
