  1. Ex RAF 1952-55, airframe mechanic on Tempest V’s which were used as tugs for air to air target practice. I found Oar Point Airfield which had a squadron of Typhoons stationed there. I was attending an ASR/MCS meeting in the New Forest and found this while touring around. I have a photo of the notice there and a very beautiful poem.
